About the Workshop
Sally Orgren is a long-time presenter of weaving techniques at Sussex County Teen Arts. In this video, she shares her presentation at HGA's Weaving and Spinning Week for one of the Thread Talk segments, "From Concept to Cloth." There were a total of three speakers. Sally taught advanced weaving techniques along with three projects and how to weave with unconventional materials.

Sally is Editor of Shuttle Spindle & Dyepot magazine, produced by the Handweavers Guild of America, Inc. Sally has exhibited, won awards, and written about weaving and related topics throughout her 30+ years of producing fiber art. Sally enjoys coaching new weavers immensely and she posts projects to Ravelry.com and #instaHGA.
