About the Workshop
Chinese brush stroke painting is an ancient art form that can produce pleasing results from a novice painter, and be challenging to an advanced artist. You will learn how to hold and manipulate the Sumi brushes with four brush stroke techniques, plus you will see how water, paint ratios nd subtle brush pressure all produce different results.
Meet the Instructor
Joanne is a design consultant, decorative artist, and Master Gardener. Her work has been commissioned for many private residencies throughout the country ranging from Manhattan townhouses to country farmhouses.
